After dinner Windsor likes to put his face down on the floor and spin and sneeze. Velvet likes to steal bread out of the toaster. Windsor likes to chew Lou's shoes - not mine, only his so those have to stay in the closet. But both are pretty well behaved :)

Ok, here is the challenge for you guys. So, no one has posted anything I haven't seen before. Anyone have creative shorthairs? I will throw one out to get the ball rolling

Nice! Love how she catches with her feet too. When does she try out for basketball or soccer. I think she definitely has talent in both.

Hanna is such a pretty girl.

And to the pup getting into the gifts for its friends, I can picture that. Bella also brings things she finds to us...so I can picture her doing the same thing to the hubby lol. Your pup was thinking "BEST DAY EVER, NEVER ENDING TOY" :)

Hmm...creative... Well, I don't know how creative it is but it makes me laugh. After a cold outting, Bella likes to do this... I'm thinking it's her version of a Sauna. :)

The curtain thing is a good one too. I had to laugh as mine do something similar when they come in. They duck under the curtain and then walk under it letting the curtain drag across their back. Also, Halo and Fauna rub against the bed spread by leaning against the side and walking along rubbing against the side of the bed. I only buy washable bed spreads because the sometimes are dirty when the do it.

These are too fun to see/watch! Such funny creatures they are!

When I let Nixie out in the morning, if she has eye junk from allergies she'll stick her nose and face in between my legs to wipe it off on my pants. Not the most fun for me but it's definitely one way to get it off I suppose!

Also, does anyone else's get super excited when someone sneezes? Nixie is just so startled and gets really excited that wherever she is she'll find that person and bless them with her avid attention!

The other night the dogs were tuckered out because they had been at doggie camp all day.  I was in the kitchen, Zoe was curled up on her dog bed and Archer was under his favorite blanket on the couch.  I hear somebody drinking water and turned around to find Archer still wearing his blanket.  What a goof!

Oh that just made me laugh out loud. I have seen this sight in our home too. Makes them look like Knight's horses walking around the house.

Nixie's mom...Bella doesn't care about sneezes. But she too likes to use things she shouldn't to wipe her eye boogies. Texasbelle, sounds like what Bella does on the couch to wipe her face after eating. She runs her muzzle and side down the length of the couch, then turns around and does the other side.

What nuts!

bwahahaha Archer Bugsy has that happen sometimes too - always worth a chuckle!

Bugsy does this insane rolling, sliding, flopping like a seal thing every morning - immediately after the worlds loudest helicopter ears to ensure you won't be falling back to sleep.
He does the same rolling, sliding, flopping dance after a raw meal or tripe - I am convinced he's wiping his face on the carpet!

He is MOST definitely wiping his face on the carpet. Bella will use her paws often for her eye boogies. It is actually really cute to see her wake up in the morning and start rubbing her face like a human would rub their eyes lol. Her usual routine...awake...high pitched "I'm UP" yawn, helicopter ears (I like that name for it...thanks lol), jump of bed straight to living room...roll around on carpet to fix bed fur...go out for potty...come in and immediately sit on rug and wait for breakfast...wait on rug until someone notices you're waiting for breakfast...eat breakfast...straight back to living room to wipe face on couch. BONUS - burp of satisfaction in someone's face if available...

not too different here and yes the am roll is for the eye boogers!
He does a long front stretch accompanied by the high pitch yawn, comes over to 'kiss' DH & I with his tail nearly taking down the drapes in the process - then comes the seal flopping right in the bedroom.
Yup we're up now :)

These are all great! A dog catching a ball like a human, another dog hiding in the drapes, one walking around with a blankie on - I needed good laughs tonight!

Kpwlee - my oldest is nicknamed Sikorsky ears. Every morning she wakes me up reving up the ears. She waits several minutes and if I am not moving she flops them again. In the family she is known for her ear flopping.

Love it!! He has always flapped his ears with an almighty noise - when he was a pup I thought he had ear issues, nope. Just likes flapping!

Wee - that is more than likely a ewe neck. They aren't supposed to have ewe necks, but it shows up especially in other breeds. It will cause problems for dogs that have to carry heavy game long distance, and it can also impact swimming for the dog. A breeder would not normally breed a dog that produces ewe neck puppies so you might want o discuss with your breeder. It should not be an issue though for Keely as a pet.

Yesterday on the job I was looking out the back door at max sitting on the edge of a big meadow. Nose in the air taking in all the good smells. Across the field out steps a deer
some 300 yrds away & I can see him plain as day. I thought to myself 3rd week of the deer season & look at this in the middle of the day. At this point I call out to max & say hey max
perhaps you shouldn't be out there on the edge of this field looking like a little " doe" some hunter wanted to croak one might think your a deer & bust a cap in your butt ! All he had
to do was here me & he came flying in the house. Its a brand new house with just the rough framing so next thing I know he wants me to play with him. I tell him I am working
and don't have time to play with him now. Next thing I see is max running through all the wall studs like a slolum course making this grunting noise & then he shoots out the front
door onto cardboard I have placed to protect the new front porch, picks up speed with this petrified look on his face he lands in the front yard and he gets the "re-group"
look on his face . a look that if you own a gsp I am sure you have seen before !

I had just finished setting up my very first Christmas tree in my very first house, and I decided to let Falyn come out and see it. She was born on 11-11-11, so her first Christmas didn't really count for much since she didn't get to see any trees or anything like that. So she comes running out, sees the tree, and immediately shoots under and starts rubbing her face on the floor under it, butt up in the air knocking ornaments all over the place, and does three quick circles in this way before I can even react. I see the tree go tipping over, and I give an exasperated sigh, knowing it's too late to do anything as she pops her head up from the now horizontal tree looking happy as can be. My only reaction was to say, "You see Falyn? This is why we can't have nice things."
I put her back up, fixed the tree, and brought her out on her lead to show her what was acceptable. Thankfully nothing was broken, and all was well! Now to figure out how to get her to leave presents alone when I put them under there.
