The GSP fever has well and truly taken root and over the past 9 months I have regularly been spending time in Germany working closely with a breeder and viewing the training system, methods and understanding the DKV programme.

I fell in love with Daisy when I went to Germany the first time and after spending time regularly this year with her and the breeder in Germany, she finally arrived in India this morning.

She is a five-year old female out of Tessa von Neuarenberg by Rocky KS von Neuarenberg and her parents were beautiful dogs too. She's incredibly laidback and chilled at home and loves eating, sleeping and her belly scratched. But, she's amazing in the field and I am hoping to make her the basis of my future breeding in a year or two.

Some pictures of her at work in Germany earlier this summer and a few of her first few hours in India this morning. We will be socialising her with the other dogs tomorrow afternoon. Today, she is just recovering and enjoying herself lazing.

Enjoy the pics! More to follow over the next few weeks.

That's Daisy vom Holtvogt.
yes?

I think you will be pleased with your new addition.

How did the socialization go?

Thank you all. Francine - indeed it is Daisy vom Holtvogt. She is brilliant and I've spent a lot of time with her in Germany since January. We haven't begun the socialisation yet, but I have few doubts that it will be okay. She's very relaxed with most other dogs and my dogs are very good with other dogs too.

She is lovely. You are going to have some fun with her. I love collecting shorthairs. When do you plan to breed her?

Stunning dog, she looks very bold in the field. It definitely looks like she is recovering from the move.

Hi Bev - I am not sure yet, but possibly in the Fall of next year.

Some more pics from this weekend. I could barely get all of them in one shot. She seems to be settling in fine although she does not enjoy either of the boys sniffing her rear-end. Can't say I blame her, but boys will be boys.

Your Golden Retriever is absolutely wonderful looking dog. Looks like the Golden gets along real well with the Pointers!! Congratulations on your new addition.
