This was Bella's first Halloween. She adores getting to "wear" anything...I'm guessing because of the attention she receives so she took her costume like a champ. She wasn't sure what to make of Trick or Treaters at first (and constant door knocking), but once she realized they were just funny looking children she was SOLD. She loved it. Wore herself right now being the center of attention and jumping from the door to the window anxiously awaiting the next bunch.
Hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween!

Anxiously on the lookout for more Trick or Treaters

Too much fun, all worn out...

Hey...where's the candy??

First exposure to pumpkin. I really hope it doesn't do any harm to dogs because I'm pretty sure she snuck quite a few small bits off the floor here and there.

Her own pumpkin

Cat wanted no part of any of it...

Awww, she looks gorgeous! That pumpkin is absolutely AMAZING!!!! You're so artistic - she's so lucky to have such an inventive and creative mum! I bet she was a hit with the kids too

I love it! I had thought about doing costumes for Archer & Zoe but I figured Zoe would probably try and rip it off Archer.
Great photos - you are a wonderful photographer and great job on the pumpkin!
Here's a picture of Zoe last year.

Love it! the costume, the pumpkin, Bella and all the great photos! Zoe's from last year is hysterical! Bugsy doesn't do costumes but he loves saying hi to all the kids. I am always amazed that no matter the costume he totally seems unfazed as if he doesn't notice. I was sure this one teen dressed in a wolf outfit with a ginormous wolf mask (local college is the Wolfpack) might spook him but nope. |

Colten as Hawkeye and Striker as Captain America (characters from Avengers) Quenten and Blitz as the Blues Brothers (Quenten marched in the Halloween parade with band his trumpet was at school but Blitz has a kazoo!)... take off the hats and instruments and they are Agent J and K from Men in Black LOL! |

| Thanks you guys. We had fun. I was hoping this would prompt pics of others (mostly to prove to myself I'm not the only one that did it LOL). LOVE Zoe's wig and hat. What a hoot. Her face is priceless. Splat, how cute! Awesome that they do group costumes. Do the dogs go out trick or treating with them too? I kept a few dog treats by the door, but no one came with any dogs in tow. Kpwlee, funny you mention the kid dressed as a wolf, because after Bella had realized there was no harm in what was going and that these creatures were just kids...she did bark at one kid dressed as a werewolf lol. |

My youngest went out with his friend whose mom drive them around in the mini van so Striker didn't go... My oldest had thought about bringing Blitz since he had no one to go with, but decided that would be difficult cuz no way was I going out in the cold to help, lol! My oldest isn't a big candy fan so he just didn't go out... we don't get trick or treaters at our house since we are zoned ag they would have to come out of the subdivision next door to get to our house and the kids just don't do it... I love the dinosaur costume! I pretty much put mine in costume, took the pic and then took the costume off right away... Striker would have run around in his and not minded but Blitz was not too happy about it! |

Awesome costumes! By the way, smat, pumpkin is A-OK with dogs. Mine get a little pureed pure pumpkin several times a week as a treat (especially if they've been swimming since it helps to "firm" things up ). |

| Thanks Everbell...I had vaguely thought I remembered seeing on here where it was suggested as an additive to food for tummy issues, so I wasn't too too concerned. But she can have a pretty sensitive tummy to too much of a new thing. I noticed the day after she was taking a bit longer to poop but she seemed fine and it didn't seem runny. Actually, I let her out once in her costume and she went poop. I peeked out to check on her and it was quite the hilarious sight seeing her in a poop squat in that darn costume from behind. I considered getting a picture...but decided to let that moment be a funny memory in my head only LOL |

Yup, must edit the pictures and conversations for non-dog people. I always laugh when I go out with dog friends, and wondering what non-dog people around us must think of our conversations |

| HA HA HA You guys are nuts. I'd never dress my dogs in anything lol. All though I may have to consider winter coats for them as the Toronto winters are very cold so I hear. |

| Haha I don't think I would dress mine up for Halloween either but I do think they are funny and cute! I don't think Nixie would keep one on anyways! How do you do it? I bought her a little coat for the upcoming winter cold mornings though so when I get it we'll see how she does! |

| Holy cow. Very cute pictures all! First time I was able to see them (work blocks snapfish). Sadie wanted to dress like a Hunter for Halloween. I had to explain to her she was supposed to dress as something... DIFFERENT. She spent the rest of the night in her bed. |

It is watching the dogs work that I thoroughly enjoy, and love. I could get by with just watching them work - if it weren't for all the training, and the joy they exhibit when they pick-up, and deilver to hand a bird that they pointed, and you shot. - Todd |
