Has anyone tried the Iverhart Max for heartworm?  I've been giving Archer & Zoe the Trifexis and they have done fine on it but I thought with winter approaching maybe I would just do heartworm preventive instead of the combo pill of heartworm/flea. My vet suggested the Iverhart Max.

Joey has been on Iverheart plus (not max) for a while with no issues. Wish I had found this cheaper alternative earlier! With a coupon I found online it was approx $57 for 12 pills(year supply)

That is what my vet gave Havoc. He did seem to have soft stools for a day or so after taking it, but no other side effects.

Thanks for the replies, I'm going to give it a try especially since it's so much cheaper!  I was paying about $120 for 6 pills for the Trifexis.  The vet tells me Iverhart is the generic version of the Interceptor.
