Been a month already & Bean had to try a new flea med

Last time she had a severe reaction to Revolution..Bounced off the walls, nipped at the air. It happened immediately after I applied the Revolution, no doubt about what caused the problem...She was fine the next day. I talked with the vet and he thought Advantix would be safe. Monday was her treatment and no reaction to the med at all. Thanks for all the replies about reccommending a new flea med.

Now then, we all know our GSP'S are SMART. Beans latest trick is to walk on the curb...you know like a little kid does...balance act !! I think I have figured out WHY she does it. The curb runs along a grass area that butts up to the tree line, it is about 15 feet wide, then woods. Bean used to tip toe up to the tree line, then pounce. Trouble is the critters can hear her coming, so now she walks the curb then bolts over to the tree line..I call it the stealthy stocking mode.. This dog cracks me up everyday & usually more than once a day.

So glad Advantix worked out well for Bean.  I love the product and have had no negative reactions on Rocky in the past 3 years...It is fun to watch when our GSPs our in high prey drive on a critter. They can be quite comical!!   Never a dull moment living with a GSP
