Hunted pheasant today and never saw a bird, nor did Rowdy get birdy.  He had a great time being out was having a blast, you could definitely tell.  Saw some quail, but they were along the road.  Other than that didn't come across any birds.  Still had a great time being out in the field in awesome country.
