Took Rumor out for her first goose hunt. She did awesome! Made her first goose retrieve as well right to hand. And this was the first time she really was ever on a goose before. I have used the Goose DFT for some yard work but other than that she has only worked with ducks. So proud of my girl

Wow! That is great. Congrats to Rumor. Love the pics. That's a big bird, but looks like she handled it just fine.

Good girl, Rumor! B just got her first bunch of grouse this past weekend. She did great, but she definitely doesn't care to have them in her mouth any longer than necessary and retrieves to hand asap as a result. I can't imagine how she'd handle a big ole goose.

Actually when I put my hand out to take it she didn't let go and turned her head away and tried to take a step and so I grabed the goose and said 'give'. We have done a lot of work with retrieving but this is the first time she has been on a real goose. I was very happy with her.

Nice pic pf Rumor. We had our dogs (and two GSP friends) in the woods for a hike this past weekend and they found two geese (dead) and scared the life out of another one sitting in the reeds by the lake's edge. They were all so proud of themselves!

What a proud doggie!! Congrats to Rumor!! My male made it's first kill at our local dog park last week, a baby bunny ..... I would have preferred he caught a bird!! I'm going to show him these pictures promptly!! What a beautiful dogRumor is too! LOVE IT! Thanks for the pics!

Thanks. She is a very good girl. And I am excited to keep hunting with her. Showing so much promise yet is still so young.

That is truly awesome! What a good looking dog, I can only hope Rowdy will do that well with something that big on a retrieve. Congrats to you. FYI, this would be more suited to the Hunting section, but again no biggie at all. That's a great dog you've got there.
