The boy wasn't limping so we took advantage of a very cool morning and played in the woods. He was so thrilled this is the only picture that wasn't a blurry mess LOL

I don't know how to embed the youtube code so here's the link

His swimming continues to improve and he is still loving it! I have been doing slightly longer walks once a week to see how we are doing and I see slight improvement. He was really, really happy to be back in the field though. These were all taken just before we headed home

Now there is one happy face. So glad to hear he is improving and can enjoy some
time in the woods.

Thank you both. It's really hard to not just let him do what he loves, but I know I have to hang on and let him heal

Definitely a happy Bugsy.  I have just now started letting Maple run with me in the morning although we are doing short runs.  She is doing fine and is also so happy.  So far so good with her.  Hope the same good recovery for Bugsy.

Roz.

Glad to hear he is doing so well. Take it slow. It is so hard to deny them when they look at you with those eyes.

Thanks Roz & Bev - Bev another friend from TX gave me that same reminder LOL
It is hard to deny him over and over and he's been getting more challenging to stymie in and around the house (read the crazy boy is being excessively mischievous and wild at times).
I didn't let him do much and was fortunate that he was no worse for the wear.
It did seem to help his brain a bit :)
And he is actually sleeping right now - he hasn't been sleeping much - back to swimming tomorrow.
Our weather is so nuts right now the air will be colder than the water :)
