i have a 10 week old gsp pup who loves to pee and poop in his crate and he doesnt mind laying in it. this is not my first pup but this isnt normal please someone tell me if i got a bad pup. even if he just goes potty outside and i put him in his crate not five mins later he will pee or poop

I've never heard of anything like that, although I wouldn't say he's a bad pup just because of that. Try using ultimate positive reinforcement when he DOES go outside. I'm assuming you're taking him out every 15 - 20 minutes? I would praise the heck out of him when he goes outside. Just my opinion though, others with more experience may have more to add.

Make sure your crate is only big enough for him to stand up and turn around. If it is too big he will go in the crate. Also, be sure and clean it up with something that kills the odor or he will keep going in the same spot. You can get cleaners at the pet store and some grocery stores. Finally, do you know how clean the breeder kept the puppy pin? If they did not keep it clean your job will be harder because he will have learned it is ok to live in pee and poop. Also, be sure you take him out frequently and make sure he empties his bladder. Little boys sometimes will not empty completely so make sure he pees at least a couple of times. When he goes in the correct place praise him, but don't fuss at him for going in the crate. He will not associate the mess with you fishing. Be patient and you can fix this problem. He is not a bad dog, he just needs some patience and a little work.
