Is he eating his evening meal? Any other changes? How is his weight? If you see no other issues I wouldn't worry about it. If it really bothers you, cut down on the amount you feed in both the evening and morning meals and he will probably start eating in the morning again.

Ya occasionally Raz will go into a "I don't feel like eating" phase. It's normally her number 2 meal of the day (we feed them 3x a day, don't ask! :)). If it goes on for a couple days, we reduce the amount we're feeding her and it usually gets her interested in that meal again.

Bella started leaving her Breakfast for about a month and would decide it was time to eat it around 11 am or so. We cut her food back half a cup (she gets a pm meal too) and she started eating it when it was provided again. I didn't think much of it, just assumed it was a lower appetite phase and adjusted accordingly. Now she is back up to her full amount

I had to do that with my Lucy. I feed morning and night, and she started backing off her morning meal. As was suggested here at the time, I cut back on her breakfast and a little on her dinner, and now, all is well. Guess she was just getting too much food.

last night Wyatt ate his dinner... then went out and was eating grass needless to say....the dinner was on the lawn!
No weight change, activity the same.
This morning he ate his breakfast (I cut it in half) so far so good!
I am hoping he just has a upset stomach.
At night he loves to catch moths, I think he reached his limit on moths!

Hi,

Windsor stopped eating breakfast for a little while. I cut back on his dinner and he was eating breakfast again. Then a year later we got Velvet and lately he will not eat breakfast again. Do you have other dogs? Velvet is our dominant one and she lives for food and running around. Windsor isn't as fast an eater as she is and he doesn't run like her either. I will feed Velvet in the morning and she gobbles it up and will go out and run like mad. Windsor will now eat his breakfast again once I let her out. Weird huh? He used to eat when she ate but now doesn't anymore unless he is by himself. Dinner they both eat together though. And she never went after Windsor's food - she respected him with that. If I try feeding them breakfast together, she will eat and he'll just sit there and wait for me to let her out.

When his dinner did not stay down... off to the vet in the morning! We do not have anyother dogs (yet). Everything else seems the same. Still a crazy GSP!

we headed to the vet, did some xrays, may have been a partial Obstruction, he spent the day, she flushed him with fluids did another xray @4 pm to see... it looked better, he came home with some meds and "special food" so far so good. The vet said it could have been acorns!
Hope this is the end!

My dogs all love to eat acorns. So far, no problems, but with a backyard full of oak trees there is no wy I can keep them away from them either. I wish I knew why they liked acorns.
