I have been in search for the PERFECT indestructible dog toy for MONTHS. I'm so tired of wasting money on toys that they destroy in 5 minutes. I FINALLY FOUND IT!
http://www.dogsgonuts.com/
......only purchased ONE of the goughnut sticks to see if it lasts before ordering more. These are guaranteed for LIFE. My two pups have been sharing this ONE stick for 2 days now, approximately 4 hours total of INTENSE aggressive chewing, and I have yet to fine ONE tooth mark. The rubber is completely intact. It's amazing!
They sell this on thedogoutdoors.com, but I found it to be more expensive on his site actually....which is odd. However, his site has a video of this product that I found quite useful. In case you are wondering, I purchased the original green goughnut stick, not the extreme, or maxx. NO TEETH MARKS! They are expensive, 19.99 each, but I've already wasted hundreds in the last year, so I'd much rather spend 19.99 ONCE, and have it be guarranteed for life. They also have a cannoli stick that I just purchased. It's similar to the kong and you can freeze peanut butter or cheese inside it...similar to the kong. My pups have destroyed two kongs, and yet cannot seem to create even the smallest tooth mark in the goughnut. Hopefully it will last. One this is for sure, having two pups is expensive! You purchase something for one, the other has to have one as well! I'm interested to see if anyone else has tried this product with success, and/or, if anyone else has had luck with another product. Oh....one more indestructive product I've used is the "Chuck It Ball." They won't fetch with them more than once or twice because it's more fun for them to sneek off and chew. NO TEETH marks in those either, and they are pretty inexpensive. You can find them on Amazon.com, or in the local pet shops. It's not a bad price online, however, the shipping cost makes it more affordable to by in the local stores. |

I love that picture of Max with the pole - they're masters at taking your legs out from underneath you if you're not careful. It always reminds me of a high-wire balancing act |

| the actual doughnut one might work for striker... if there is any seam or indent he picks at it and starts pulling the rubber off in tiny bits...but the doughnut one looks like there are no indents and the seam is quite smooth too... he has not destroyed the kongs but there are chew or bite marks in them... |

splat, the goughnut does have a seam that wraps around it. My dogs ALWAYS go for the seams as well! I'm not kidding though, they have BOTH gone after this thing for 4 hours of good hard solid "chewing at the seam with NO success, not even ONE tooth mark. My husband said, and I quote, "That is not going to last 10 minutes. You might as well just give them money to chew on because this toy is rubbish." After the 4 hours of intense, aggressive hard chewing and tugging, he saw there were no signs of wear and tear! He said, "I stand corrected!" I am still in awe. I ordered more this morning. I thought about waiting one week to make sure it held up Howvever, knowing how hard they chew and that there was aguarantee on it, I decided to go ahead and order more. For this reason, I did not purchase the "extreme" or the "maxx." Just the original. Here's to hoping! |

Thanks so much for sharing your find gsplover, I will be ordering today, Binni destroys EVERYTHING that we buy her. A few months ago she pulled the down spout off the house and was chewing it and running around the yard with it. It was at least 12 foot long. Another favorite of hers is the hose. She is just plain CRAZY!!!!!!!!
Csn't wait to see how this works |

Binni sounds CRAZY! Lol!!
I'm happy to share! It's been 3 days now, and the dogs have been fighting over the ONE that I purchased as a "test!" I have 4 dogs (a Lab and Aussie mix complete our GSP family!!) Not ONE has been able to pierce it or put a tooth mark in it.
I wish that I had looked on facebook prior to ordering more. I cannot wait for them to arrive! I'm sure the dogs will be happier. I ordered 2 of the gouhnut circles, one more goughnut stick, and 2 of the cannoli chews that you stuff peanutbutter in it. |

This is good to know. Silly me, I bought our new rescue Jake a stucked quacky duck (he LOVED the first one I got him, but it was too gross for me to want to touch HAHA) Well, the new one lasted JUST over 24 hours. Seems has he perked up from a health episode, he decided to show me what he REALLY thinks of ducks and absolutely GUTTED the thing in minute... oh the carnage!! HAHA Our resident dog is absolutely afraid of toy that makes noise, and will not go near any toy in general, soI am glad it's not something that will cause further issues in our progress of introductions. I think I will be ordering this baby ASAP!!!!.. that poor duck |

Hi Tizziec. Yes, the goughnuts do not squeak at all. They are just made of rubber, so your resident dog should be fine with it! The goughnut should be safe from Jake as well! My 2 are the same way. They devour anything stuffed with a squeaker in minutes. Rawhides are good, but they can get expensive, and they have their health hazards as well...choking, obstructions..etc. I wanted something JUST like this goughnut that had a lifetime guarantee, didn't squeak, and satisfied their need to chew! And, best of all, I don't have to replace it every day! I just ordered more gouhnut stuff...can't wait for it to arrive! |

Jake seemed to treat the first duck I got him like a kid with his teddy bear, but then I got it for him as a welcome home LOL Two weeks in and getting past a health problem, and HELLO JAKE! Nice to meet you HAHA No more teddy bear, his more curious side is beginning to show, you could see that "I am gonna find out where that quack is coming from" look inhis eye... I was cracking up... as I was adding up the expense of a dog going through a toy a day LOL This will hopefully suit him perfectly I have missed watching a dog play with toys since our bear "Springer Spaniel BUDDY" passed away a year ago... Buster won't touch a toy of any kind beyond chasing leaves in the wind, fun to watch, but I haven't figured out how to make that human inclusive HAHA Can't wait till jake is well enough to learn fetch.. boy have I missed that game! |

Tizziec, I know what you mean about the toy/day expense. My husband told we really needed to reign in the expenses on these two! When I look at bedding, toys, food, rawhides, and vet expenses in this first year.....actually 6 months, I could have almost opened my own shop!! I wouldn't trade anything for the world, as I adore these two. But I have definitely spent more on these two in 6 months than I have on my own two children in 3 or 4 years! Their beds that I re-ordered arrived yesterday. I put them away! Not taking any chances. They can have real comfy beds for their 3rd birthday. For now, they are on big comfy bedspreads and old blankets. They are still chewing on those and shredding, but at least it didn't cost 125/bed to fit the crate! I found some cheap queen size quilts for 17.00 on amazon.com!
