Hi guys! Not been on for a while, but got a question for you.... I recently did a slow transition from my dogs regular food to orijen (the mainly chicken 80.20 one) and now they're on it fully while dex is fine, roo has very soft stools. Has anyone else found this, could I be feeding too much? Though they are getting probably a cup twice a day in US measurements. Maybe it's too rich? Hummmmm. At £60 a bag I expect perfect poops!

Some dogs are very sensitive to even slight overfeeding with Orijen so I would try to cut back for roo and see if it firms up. I know of several dogs that have soft or runny poop on even slight overfeeding with it. I also know that I use it for Bugsy because it is the only food that I can truly feed less and he maintains. It is stupid expensive BUT he uses about a cup less a day of even comparable foods Hope reducing it fixes the poo issue

Thanks for the reply, I'll cut back and see what happens! It looks like such a small amount, don't they get hungry!

Bugsy has never been much of a chow hound so doesn't complain. He does lick his bowl clean though! You can add salt-free canned green beans for bulk if you think they are hungry
