She is adorable. Love the heart on her side, but am trying to figure out the collar in the last picture. ;-)

Oh my cuteness. She can be as crazy as can be with a face like that! She will get out of all sorts of trouble.

Thanks everyone! I love her heart. It makes her so unique. That is the only marking other than the one on her bum. She is also a leap year puppy born 2/29! Nancy - it is a prong collar with a choker hooked to it. The in home trainer has us using both just incase the prong comes off it is back up.

Do you happen to know her pedigree? My youngest has a broken heart on her side and a big liver patch on the side runs in my pedigree. Fauna's great great grandpa, Toby (Minado's Parade Drum Major) also had a liver patch on his non-show side. There have also been other pups where that patch has turned up. They aren't all heart shaped, but they are in about the same place.

Texas Belle - I do not know her pedigree, but wish I did. I have to send off her AKC paperwork...that should tell me, right? We got her from a breeder on Ocala, Fl . Mom was Briar Covey's Gretchen and dad was Briar Coveys Fitch. Once I find out I will definitely share with you.

I just saw these!! BEAUTIFUL PUP!!! I LOVE the Roan pattern! The breeder we purchased our 2 from had another that a "wrong fit" owner returned. Her complaint was that she was "crazy" and just barked in her crate all day......key words, ALL DAY! That's a problem! Anyway, this Roan color is a tiny 40 pound that is not going to get any bigger. If I didn't already have my hands super full with my two, I would purchase her in a heartbeat! Stella is ADORABLE and I can tell you ADORE her too! You are going to have a blast together! Can't wait to hear about the biking experience!! Keep me posted!

Thank you! Stella is crazy too, but in a good way. She will randomly do somersaults in the living room. It's hysterical.

Very cute! I love the roan color as well. Our breeder sent us pics of the pups - they are a few days old and they are white with liver heads and some liver patches. I know they get darker with age, but how long does it take until you can see what their coloring is going to be?

At about 3 weeks their ticking starts to really show and you get a good idea of what their coat will like. Of course theft will continue to darken until they are about two or so. The patches stay pretty much the same, but they get bigger and stretch some.

As for pedigree the breeder should give you a 3 or 4 generation pedigree, but if they don't you can purchase one from the AKC when you register her. It isn't allot more and is nice to have. You can also ask your breeder for and they should send it to you.

And as others said, you are going to have allot of fun with your girl.
