Bugsy and I went for a hike today and he was insistent that we check the trail map very carefully before setting off. Apparently he was most interested in the largest area of water and sure enough that is where we ended up For the record this was unposed - I was still get my backpack together and looked for him and found this

Too, funny! I was standing next to a sign like that this past wekend and got stung by a bee - would have been worse if I didn't run. Thankfully Bregon,who was standing with me, didn't get stung.

There were some trail closures due to hornet nests - I was very happy for the notification because Bugsy puts his nose in everything. Glad Bregon didn't get stung - how is he doing?

It just proves my point that he is very independent and refuses to trust I've got it under control He is very detail oriented and nosy pup so this picture makes me LOL every time I look at it - it just is so 'him'

We go out for hikes in the wood with my friend, Joce and her GSP, Keeper. (Yes; same name, same dog breed ). Raz and Bo will take off with my husband. Every now and again the dogs go a little far and we call them back. Joce always says that Raz if Raz could speak she would say: "You stupid humans. I knew where I was. I can't help it if YOU get lost." LOL

hahaha - Bugsy is an amazing trail dog - he stays on the trail pretty much all the time - way ahead but on the trail. When he got scent or sound of the river yesterday he was off! next I saw him, he was down a 6-8 ft bank in the river LOL. He sure as heck knew where he was going!
