Question for those of you who have been to their events. We are hoping to attend the one in Gaylord later this month. I'm just wondering if "bystander" dogs are allowed near the event site (I'm assuming yes, but I hate to assume anything when traveling). She won't be competing (will leave that to pros like Sadie (though I know I know, she doesn't compete, she should lol), but I was wondering if there is any time that noncompeters are allowed on the dock during nonevent times to try it out (I believe I heared at some events there is time to allow this). Also, the new event "fetch it"... Is there practice time first? I feel like she could do this...It'd be fun to see if she could. Excited to see the dogs. Looking forward to it greatly, hope we can make it work to go.
To be on the safe side , I would just take the dog that is competing to the event. The by stander dog may not be welcome. I have gone to Dock dog jump shows and they asked only competing dogs be there. Dogs not jumping leave them at home. You could always call the event chair person to ask. Each show Location may be different. Good luck and Best wishes.
