Armadillos have been scarce b/c of the severe drought.  Was begining to think Kal lost his touch when he got his AARP card.  Since Debby dumped big time the little tanks have returned.  Kal has nailed 3 Armadillos in 8 days.  Last one never looked up & Kal hit it like a bowling ball.  He's so proud of himself & prances around, head held high, displaying his trophy.  Then acts like he's hypnotized, as he instinctually begins to search for just the right place to bury his prey.  He tried digging 5 holes before committing on the 6th.  His burial obsession includes punching the victim into the ground & covering/hiding grave w/dirt & debris w/his snout.  This all on 50' leash.
