Stoked to get Rowdy some experience on dove/grouse come September 1st.  I know he's going to love it.  Anyone else counting down the days?

We like early waterfowl - wood duck are common at that time,
everything else opens Oct1

Very excited! Upland numbers here are outstanding. Last year duck numbers were the highest since the 50's and this year they are even higher! Grouse and partridge open on September 1st but have to wait until around Oct 11th for pheasant and waterfowl. Dove also opens Sept 1st but we usually have a freeze a couple days before the opener and all the doves head south before then. Duck Fever do you have any wild chukars out your way?

I am sure excited about going out for Duskies and dove.  If memory serves correct, it is only 40 days until the 1st.

Tons.  Tough, rugged terrain/hunting but very fun.  One of my favorite upland game to chase.

+1Excited here. Club season for Phez starts October 15th, but Club opened for dog training on Quail July 9th. Trying to find some time late summer - fall to get out.

It is watching the dogs work that I thoroughly enjoy, and love. I could get by with just watching them work - if it weren't for all the training, and the joy they exhibit when they pick-up, and deilver to hand a bird that they pointed, and you shot. - Todd

I can't wait! I have been watching the doves starting to stack up around the area and it is making me ichy. The pups are ready to get out. training has been put on hold due to the heat and they are not happy. We haven't even been able to get out for a good swim because the water levels are so low and the water is NASTY!

been excited since january 1st. we have to wait till sept 29th here in VT! we haven't been able to get out in the woods too often due to the temps being in the upper 80's - mid 90's and humid as all heck! but the few times we have, the #'s are looking promising!
