We received an email from the Kent County Spca in DE today about an older GSP that was found stray. He is emaciated but has a hunting collar on. The collar is old. I asked her if I could post this to shorthairs.net in the hopes that possibly a hunter lost his dog while out in the field and the dog has been missing for a while to be in this poor physical condition? She said he is extremely friendly. I will post her e-mail below and his picture. Please contact her if this could be your dog.

Dutch is a 12y old, neutered male, GSHP who was found as a stray.  He is microchipped however his owner no longer lives at the address listed on the microchip or has the same phone number.  The last time he was seen by the vet hospital that is listed as his implant facility was 2008

Oh poor dog... I hope they find the owner or a new home and can nourish him back to health. Poor guy

Poor guy, definitely emaciated.
