Had Sadie out for some video shooting this weekend (thanks to my daughter who let me borrow her tripod, or this would have been difficult).  I would say the Force Fetch training paid dividends!

It is watching the dogs work that I thoroughly enjoy, and love. I could get by with just watching them work - if it weren't for all the training, and the joy they exhibit when they pick-up, and deilver to hand a bird that they pointed, and you shot. - Todd

Great!

Sooooo.....

do we have the priviledge of viewing Sadie in action?

Yeah... As soon as I can learn how to post video from Facebook... I also had a good video with Casting. Sorry about the delay. I thought it would be easier...

It's NOT easy.

I film so much I'd like to post on photobucket

but then it's too long and photobucket won't let me upload it.

Soooo, I have to learn how to edit
but, that ain't easy either.

My 9 yo daughter does it for me

how sad is that? :)

Editing is easy enough for me. Windows Media Live (or whatever it is called) actually works really well for editing. I guess I thought it would be easier to post from Facebook.

Can anyone out there provide a quick message to tell how to do it?

I have the Windows Movie making and making the little movies is easy. Facebook usually won't let me download them because they have a song on them or they are too big. SO, I made a youtube account and I put my videos on there. It takes about 15 minutes for a video to load on there and then you have direct link or an embedded link you can post, or you can share directly from there to any social networking sites like facebook.

I really would like to do this without getting another social media account....

I hear ya. Though, I really consider youtube the photobucket of video. I don't add friends, I don't subscribe to channels, you don't get messages (people can comment on your videos if they want)..I'm simply on it just long enough to add my video and get the link. It saved headaches for me, but may just create more for you if it is just one more thing...very understandable.

Ok, so I am working on the Youtube thing, but in the meantime, I feel REALLY bad about opening a topic without posting SOMETHING.  So, here are some photos from the same day I shot the video.  I will post the video once I am able.

Sorry for the delay!

Here is Casting.  She has a little issue with alignment to her Left, which was corrected with a re-cast.

Yeah? Thought I had it. DOUGH! Wonder if anyone else can see them. It worked when I did it. Thought I was pretty smart... duh.

My guess is it works b/c it's your account.

Let's see if anyone else can view it?

Maybe I'm special :)

On YouTube, I think I have to mark that your video can be public as well as mobile available. Otherwise it might just be private and that might be why you can see it and we can't

Ok.  Made it public.  Does it work now?

Yeah, I can't do anything about it from work. Photobucket, Facebook, and Youtube are all blocked - which is fine, they should be... I can't see the videos at work either (but I can get on Shorthairs.net!). So the videos are blank. The videos work  at home, though. Was hoping that by making them public, and embedding them here, they would be visible. Maybe best to just visit me on Facebook!

I have no problem seeing the videos. Maybe it's because you've changed the settings today? Anyway, especially love the first video. Sadie looks great! Also amused at how she comes back and sits and looks straight at the camera. Too funny!

Yeah, that is what I thought as well!  Normally she sits facing me, or heels beside me.  As you can see in the video, she turns right toward the camera, and I kinda look at her like...  "what the...?!?", and tell her to release the dummy.  I did continue to film, and threw a second mark, where she did a wide circle right under the camera, and came back and did the same thing.  Then, I knew (while I was filming) what she was doing.  She has always been a little (too) photogenic!
