Hi all,new here and just thought I'd say hi,Im Dennis and my GSP is named Aksel , he's 7 months old. My house backs up to BLM land with a large quail population so he's been getting a lot of exposure to birds and he's doing an amazing job pointing/flushing for me,this is my 1st bird dog and i now realize how many birds I must have walked right past in my hunting career anyways here he is

Now the next step is you get hooked on this whole bird dog thing ( or sounds like you may be already) That 7 month to a year time is a cool one also with lot's going on. Nice looking pup !

 He's a beautiful dog, wow .. people always say I'm into the whole birds and dogs thing, cuz I'm one of the only "chicks" they know that goes hunting
