Congratulations on your litter of puppies. It will be fun to watch them grow up.  I wanted to share some information with you that we have just learned. All of the monies raised to benefit health and wellfare have been added to the general treasury and not earmarked for H&W. Recently the BOD turned down a request from H&W for money for a deposit to hold the health clinics at Nationals. In the past, Leita used her own money for the deposit. She is no longer the chair. Not sure what the status will be for health clinics this year.

Every year we hold an Art Auction to support the GSPCA National Specialty Top 25 Gala event - a portion of the proceeds go to the GSPCA Welfare Foundation.  

We are asking for donations in the following categories:  Objects of Art, Photography sessions, Handling Services and other special items.

Please contact me if you have an item you would like to contribute to our event.

I don't think anyone has that answer but the BOD. I beieve there is just one general fund. No separate accounts for H&W or Rescue, but I may be mistaken on that. I always thought there were different accounts ear marked for those causes.

I understand that you meant that to go private, but now that it is out there WHY did money raised specifically for H&W go into the general treasury.  And WHY did the BOD vote to not put the deposit on the health clinics?  Anyone know the answers?
 
Further, why should we support the auction which is meant to benefit H&W when it doesn't?
