We went for a preserve hunt last week, and I was able to snap a few shots:

Great Pictures! If the one of the bird flying had the dog in it it would make my top-10! Nice job!
It is watching the dogs work that I thoroughly enjoy, and love. I could get by with just watching them work - if it weren't for all the training, and the joy they exhibit when they pick-up, and deilver to hand a bird that they pointed, and you shot. - Todd

Nice pictures.
What I'd like to know - did he hit that bird and how "tenderized" was it?????
That pic is my favorite of the bunch.
Love the action.

Thank you for the comments.
That particular bird in the photo got away - I didn't post the other photos of it flying away so as to not embarrass the shooter.
My fiance hit another one at similar close distance. It's leg fell off. Needless to say, it did not suffer.
Casey taught us well & became much more focused near the end, he knew exactly what to do. I guess what I am saying is that I think we may be more green than him, LOL
...Although he has a tendency to run after the birds and try to catch them with his mouth. I wish I could have gotten a pic of him snapping at a shot bird that just got away by inches, it was quite the sight, he almost had it. Not sure if this is a good thing or not.

My brother-in-law & friends did a preserve hunt over the weekend in NJ some where. In talking to my sister via e-mail it sounded like they had
fun ! Last year at holiday I asked them what type dogs were used & my nephew replied " a dog like max !" Got to love the GSP !
