A few weeks back we made the trip to the AKC show in Ft. Wayne Indiana. There was a special best bred by exhibitor class and I took one of the pups in that I co own for that on Saturday. He took BOB in Bred By and then a Group 4 in the bred by groups. Just wanted to share and also show the pictures the photogropher sent me. Thanks!

Thank you. Yes I was pretty proud of him! He was up against some nice competition as well.

Congratulations Beth! Fauna and I got to compete in the Breeders groups and BIS. We were lucky enough to get a Group 1. Lot's of fun. For me the Breeder's groups actually kind of mean more because I was competing with other top breeders and their dogs. Congrats again, your boy is growing up very nicely.

Yeah I know what you mean Beverly! I just am so happy his owner allowed me to show him in bred by. Yes I am his breeder and co owner but she decided to sit the side line that day and watch just so I could try it. :0) And it was fun. And I am sure my jaw about HIT THE FLOOR when he took best of breed bred by! LOL

Wonderful accomplishment! We too participate in this (for many years) and have had several BBE Best in Shows, and a host of BBE Group 1 awards -- but we've done it a lot with many of our GSPs -- it is a great feeling to take BOB in the BBE competition alone -- the Group awards are just icing on the cake Also, getting the gold and silver medallions for earning BBE Champions is another accomplishment we are very proud of -- it is a dedication of work and focus to finish a GSP striclty from the BBE classes shown by a non-professional handler -- keep up the good work and congratulations on this win!!! GREAT JOB! What class was he in? He looks young .Was that 6-9 months ? How old are they now ? i cant remember when you had you litter ? Are they all sold ?(been far east )

We did a repeat breeding and they are do any day now and 6 are spoken for out of that litter. The litter that this boy is from will be a year on February 23.
