Well the day has come, and a sad one at that.   We recently took in a Male GSP in our home in hopes of him having a better life than where he was.  Unfortunately he doesent get along well with any of our other animals or my 2yr old daughter.   So the wife says he has too go.   I dont know how old he is as we rescued him off the streets about November,  he is neutered and up to date on his shots.  He is great in the feild and shows great intrest everytime I get the shotgun out....literally bouncing off the walls.     He is also very affectionate and will gladly spend the day curled up in your lap.

Without seeing his teeth, my bet is he is anywhere from 8-12 yrs old based on the white on his muzzle. Here is link to national GSPCA Rescue groups, find one in your state to see if they can help:
