A Brittany was found in Northern NM around mid summer this year.  It has finally ended up in the hands of a hunter owning English Setters, and he said it appears to be a trained hunter.

 

At this time the dog is safe and being well cared for.  The current caretaker has very strong feelings about making a serious effort to reunite the dog with its family.  The dog does not have a microchip or tattoo, and ads in the local paper have been nonproductive. 

 

The question arises that the dog may have been missing from its original home for even longer than when it was first seen in this area, that it may have traveled a long way from where originally lost, or that its family lost it while traveling though the area.  For these reasons, we are trying to advertise the finding of the dog over as wide an area as possible.

 

If anyone thinks they might know this dog, please contact either myself, or Craig Kennah at craigkennah@hotmail.com  with a description or pictures of the dog they think it might be.

 

If after serious effort, the owner is not found, Craig may consider placing the dog is a top quality family home that hunts.
