My computer crashed and had to rejoin the forum with a different name, Dante recieved his Re leg and 8 out of 9 legs required to get there were 1st place. Nice Rally run and congratulations. Also enjoyed the agility and the squirrels. Very nice working dog. Do you also do obedience with Dante?

Thanks for all of the kind words. I am going to trial for his cd this fall. I probably could have gotten it a long while ago but i want to score high. I train by myself through Michael Ellis DVds and methods with the tug as a reward but havent had group sit and down exposure. I am working on it now. He can do alot of the open stuff now although not polished. Thanks again for the words of encouragement. Jerry

No I didn't. No one there to take the video. He did awesome, but has been challenged by his long sit. He likes to go visiting as soon as my back is turned. We were in 3 trials that week and the only one he held his sit in was the one for the Nationals. We have been working on long sits and downs since then and he is ready to hopefully get the rest of his CD legs. His sister, Halo, won HIT at the Nationals in 2009. She is working on her CDX, but she has been drop challenged. I think we may have turned the corner on that one too. Anyway, loved your Rally run. One of these days I will try Rally.
