Lord help me, both Ellie and Teejay are pregnant! Teejay's litter will be small - two or three is what we saw on ultrasound. Ellie was squirming around so an exact count was hopeless, but we saw at least six. At least it's not two litters of 10!!
Much to do in the next four weeks!!

Thanks guys! I can handle this number (provided there weren't a bunch of babies hiding) and it might work out about perfect. We have 6 families waiting and we will keep either one or two (insanity, I know). So we may have them all placed already. That said, my girls always seem to fool us on the low side on ultrasounds...
I don't know whether this is funny or kinda sick  - Thunder will be a daddy and a granddaddy in the space of about 48 hrs...Proud daddy/grandpa below (that sounds very "Deliverance"...)

Not totally sure if he still has all the hardware, but for the last litter, my husband put up a puppy web cam so people could get a "real time" fix. Granted you can't smell puppy breath, but it's a pretty close substitute. Will let y'all knw if he's doing that again.

We don't ever breed until we have lots of people waiting. My heart can't take not knowing I have good homes for the babies...

| Jean - I agree. I posted the planned breeding when I bred Halo well in advance and had a good list of people on the wait list before she was even bred. What I wasn't expecting was 11 puppies, but even with that I had all my puppies sold before they were even born. Takes the stress away so you can really enjoy the puppies. |
