Fauna made her debut in the AKC show ring in the San Marcos shows this weekend. Yesterday she acted like a typcial shorthair puppy and I was afraid it was going to be a very long weekend. Today though she decided to turn on that cute puppy charm and act like a good girl. She took Winners Bitch (no males in the classes) and BOS for her first 2 points. I was very proud of her because the conditions were nasty as the San Marcos shows are in a barn with sandy flloors (think rodeo barn) and it was wet, so lots of good smells and pigeons in the rafters.

No, I didn't stay for pictures as the light just sucked and Fauna and I wanted to get home. I am hoping she does as well at the San Antonio shows (4 show cluster) and if so I will get a picture there. Also have some more smaller shows coming up before the Nationals.

Congrats to Fauna and to you too, Bev! That showsite at San Marcos is unreal...specially when the sand/mud is wet...like being in quicksand! Glad you did well! Are you going to Houston? Phyllis and the Singltrak kids
