We went to a 3 day, 6 show weekend with UKC this weekend here in MI. What a fun weekend! We got to hang out with some awesome GSP people and show people in general. Met a wonderful owner of some Duck Tollers and introduced a new person to showing on Sunday. She had a blast! Cody came home being a new UKC CH and now has 2 legs towards his Grand Title as well. Out of the 6 shows he took 4 BOB, a Group 1,Group 2 and Group 4. He was such a good boy! Phoenix got 1 more leg toward her Grand as well and now has 3 out of her 5 legs needed. She also did weight pull on Sunday and did AWESOME picking up 10 pts. Towards her weight pull champion title. And my APBT girl Annie came back out to pull and picked up a total of 35 points towards her next weight pull title as well. We had such a fun weekend! I will post a few pictures tonight of the kids doing their thing but I just wanted to share. Also wanted to give a shout out to Sara on this board as well as she was with us and her boy Ozzy picked up the other 2 BOB wins and his first 2 legs toward his Grand CH title as well along with earned his first Total Dog award by doing weight pull on Saturday! Great job Sara!

It WAS a fun weekend!!! Cody is a nice looking boy, and Phoenix is definitely my favorite female GSP--I love her! Ozzy and Oskar did me proud, and represented Abbe Lane well over the weekend. Their accomplishments were icing on the cake--more importantly we raised over $1600 for Abbe Lane to help with their vet bills after the horrendous fire! That was the first time we had tried for Total Dog and I can't believe Ozzy got it. I have to give props for the old man Oskar too, he did GREAT in weight pull on Sunday and is on his way to a weight pull CH title!! I think he pulled just under 2000 pounds on the cart, not too shabby for a 8.5 year old man, and he had everyone cheering for him. It was a good weekend for GSP's!
