TrueBlu Shorthairs is pleased to announce the final breeding of FC Slick's Cajun Desire, Callie, to FC AFC J and K's Baron York Von Greif. Both dogs have proven, for many years, their abilities in the field trial arena, but in our eyes, the most important arena...hunting wild birds in Oklahoma and Texas.

FC Slick's Cajun Desire-2001 #3 GSPCA Puppy/Derby Dog, produced several hour champions, including our best FC TrueBlu's Hud's Kickin Up Dust-2005 GSPCA National All Age Championship Runner-Up, trained and handled by Robbi and Keith Gulledge of Blue Dawn Kennels. Hud won the NGSPA Quail All Age Championship, the NGSPA Great Plains All Age Championship, and the Region 5 All Age Championship. He was the 2004 #1 ranked GSPCA All Age Dog, but has also been hunted on wild birds for many years off foot. Callie has over 30 field trial placements and has proven to be an excellent wild bird dog year after year. Callie is a direct daighter of NFC Heide's Might City Slicker, out of NFC Sanjo Sin City Slicker X FC Heide Ho Pinehurst, and out of Cajun's Burning Desire out of FC Rosehill's Bilbo Baggins X FC Rawhide's Daisy. Callie's pedigree is HOF through and through.
FC AFC J and K''s Baron York Von Greif has too many field trial placements and wins to name. With thousands of wild quail, pheasants, chukar, chickens, and sharpies killed over his points. York is out of a breeding between FC NC RR Billy's Revelation out of FC Rockin Rollin Billy X Spike's UB Bertha von Greif, and Spike's UB Bertha von Greif, out of Paygon's Spike von Greif X Oakridge's Hurricane. York is the product of an excellent line-breeding of some of the greatest Greif names in the line.
