I have not really ever shown in AKC before and I have just had Cody for about a month now so we hit a AKC Match show today to see how we were doing and see what improvement we needed to make. I have to send out a BIG thanks to the judge as she was FANTASTIC with giving me tips and pointers on handling him.  (I am still figuring out his quircks). But we had a great time and took Best In Match! :0) A small win but still it is a confidence booster as I always get so nervouse showing dogs!

Hahaha. If you actually saw how I handled you would probably laugh. But it was great cause the judge for the breed really took her time and gave me a lot of tips and it really paid off! Now to put them into practice this coming weekend at our UKC show. :0) I am realizing it is so much more easy to show a dog you raise and train from a pup than one you get as 3 year old! LOL. But he is a very good boy and he is doing well.
