hello everybody, it's been a while since I have been able to post a new topic here. Not sure what the deal was, I guess my internet connection over here just wasn't doing it. had the option to type my new thread, but not to post it.. Anyhow, As some of you all know, I am overseas playing in the sandbox, but was recently home on leave and picked out a new GSP pup. Since my wife took the kids to her parents house, Jake will be staying with the breeder until I get home in March, and I am stuck getting pictures every few weeks when she goes out to visit. Anyhow, I just thought I would share a couple pics so you all can see how he is doing. Jake was born first couple days of November, so he is a little over 8 weeks old now. so let me share a few pics of my new buddy. I know, wing on a string too much can be a bad thing, but this was great for my wife to see. She said that she didn't realize how these dogs point is from instinct. SOO cute!!! Love the coloring and all the patches!!! I miss Jackson being that small!! I realized my dog could point from instinct when he started pointing at butterflies when we brought him home... lol.

AAAH, he is so cute, your son is a cutie to, I have 4 sons, 3 grandsons so I guess I am partial to boys!! Let us know when you get home. Tell everyone over there that we think of them daily & pray they all come home soon. 2 of my sons & my brother were in the military & I was born at Camp Pendleton, California

Very nice looking pup. It is hard for me to believe our little pups will become even that big. They still seem sooo small to me at 5 weeks old. Can't wait to hear you are home and have your pup with you!

Kurt, What a great looking dog! Amazing to see how much he's grown. Your little boy is adorable too and will love his new buddy. Our boys are 10 and 7 and weren't too sure about getting a dog, but they are totally in love with our GSP. It's so fun to see how Ranger's little tail wags when he sees his boys. Stay safe over there and know that we are thinking of you.

That is so amazing to me to see that young of a pup to point!!!!!! I know they do it from instinct, but to see it is really cool.
