Upcoming breeding for December 2010/January 2011:

 

After much research of pedigrees and visiting with people who have been part of this wonderful breed of German Shorthaired Pointers; and with many discussions with my wonderful mentors we have finally chosen a wonderful stud dog for our girl Phoenix and have solidified our plans for our first breeding.

 

These pups will have amazing natural ability in the field and I would expect true versatility out of them Both the sire and dam are fools for the water and LOVE to retrieve birds. Both dogs are amazingly intelligent and biddable as well. This litter is going to produce outstanding bird dogs with awesome conformation. The pups should excel in any direction their owners wish to pursue: hunting, showing, obedience, agility, fly ball, Frisbee, weight pull or just lounging around the house.

Phoenix is a well built 2 year old black GSP. Our main sport with her is dock jumping where she has set a personal best of 22’8” with very little time on the dock. She is a UKC Show Champion with 1 leg currently toward her Grand Champion. She also holds her United Weight Pull Title. Phoenix passed her CGC test at 6 months old and could pass again today if tested again. She is currently being worked on for obedience and rally competitions along with continuing her dock jumping career. After the litter we will also be pursuing more weight pull training with Phoenix. She is an awesome dog around the house. All business in the field and loves the birds and has an awesome natural retrieve.

Kenny is an amazing 6 year old liver GSP. He has numerous wins in the show ring and holds his Field Dog Junior title through the CKC. Kenny has produced multiple MH dogs, several JH dogs and many show CH’s both in CKC and AKC. Kenny passes on to his offspring nice deep chest, great bone, beautiful heads and amazing hunting abilities.

We are offering a great incentive plan on this upcoming litter. We believe so highly in the ability that will come from this litter that we are offering money back incentives for obtaining different hunting, performance and conformation titles. Here is how it will break down:

 

Conformation:

Obtain either an AKC CH or UKC GRCH- $25- can not be paid out for both titles. Whichever is obtained first.

 

Hunting:

NAVHDA- NA Prize I, II, or III- $25

                    Utility- Prize I, II- $25

Once receive payout for your first prize no pay out will be given for further prizes. So total one could get $50 back for NAVHDA testing

 

AKC- JH/SH/MH- $25- Will only pay out on first title obtained/first title owner submits payment for

 

AKC FC- $25

 

If an owner for example gets a NAVHDA NA and UT Title, An AKC JH, SH, Or MH and an AKC FC the owner would be paid out a total of $100 for their achievements

 

 

Performance:

Any AKC or UKC title in Agility or obedience. Will not pay out for BOTH UKC and AKC titles. But owner can get a payment for their first Agility and first Obedience title. $25 each for a possible total of $50.

 

UKC- Weight Pull and Dock Jumping title- $25 each. Paid on first title obtained for a possible of $50 total

 

Health Testing Have to obtain all testing in the following areas:

 

Hips-OFA Good or better or Penn Hip above the 50th percentile

Elbows-OFA Normal

CERF Cleared

Cardiac Cleared

Thyroid Tested

 

Once all of the above are done a payout of $50 will be given

 

The total possible payout for titles/health testing would be $275. We will be taking this amount from each pup purchase price and placing it aside to pay out owners. Each owner has until their pup is 4 years old to obtain any of the above titles to get a payout. Any titles achieved after the age of 4 will not count toward the incentive program. Before payout will be given proof of title/health testing must be provided to us.

 

Two pups from this litter already have deposits on them and we are looking forward to working with all new pup owners!
