I just ordered the Smart Fetch book and DVD. It should be arriving next week but I was wondering if there were any training tools I could get beforehand. Also, does he recommend using a table?

Great series.
Evan recommends gloves, checkcord, paint roller, bumpers, a 5 gallon bucket to sit on and an e-collar.
I don't think I left anything out.
What you will need to start is the paint roller. He recommends a solid, and I mean solid, sit and a pretty decent recall.
He is reachable by e-mail and answers questions timely.

I guess it is time to find an e-collar. Thank you for the response.

Just to add. He is primarily a Retriever person, not a pointer person...I have FFed a million dogs with nothing more than simple dumbell and never made a dog sit:)
