Well, it's been a while since I posted about our first show weekend, back in March...when we got Reserve Winner's.

This weekend was our 2nd show weekend.  Saturday there were only 2 bitches, and we got Winner's Bitch and our 1st point.  Sunday there were 4 bitches, and we managed to get Winner's Bitch again, for our 2nd point.  After getting Winner's, I was hoping for beginner's luck & BOB , but both days I had a sidewinder on my hands and in my nervousness did not present Brandi the best that I could have.  Saturday's judge made mention of the sidewinding, and Sunday's judge was nice enough to advise me to tighten my leash and give me a 2nd chance to go up and back on the diagonal.  I really appreciated that, even though it was a lesson in front of everyone.  So I'm tickled pink and have a few more ribbons to hang on the wall...

I just got the show photo back from our July show.  That was our 3rd show weekend, and we got our 3rd point.

This weekend we went to our 4th show weekend.  Friday was worth a 3 point major, which we couldn't quite pull off, but did manage to come away with RWB...along with the same outcome on Saturday & Sunday.   A new friend who has been showing dogs for a few years told me not to worry, as she had enough reserve ribbons to paper a wall.   I'm still learning every time I go out, and I've met some really nice folks, so this weekend wasn't a total loss.
