I was looking for a few suggestions for training Adelaide to join me duck hunting. I have not trained a dog for water retrieval before now. I have read WAY TOO much on on the subject. I was hoping that the sagely GSP people would have some unique insight...

For a reliable retrieve you will need to force fetch. I like the Smart Fetch series by Evan Graham.
