My girl just had pups about 2.5 weeks ago and she is doing the poo in the house thing sometimes. I attribute ours to the fact that she was on 3 cups of food not pregnant and not nursing and now is on 9 cups a day. Plus all the hormones have to have something to do with it. I am not seeing any problems with her going just that she has an accident every few days in the house which is not normal for her.

PS. We would LOVE to see puppy pics!

I never had that trouble with Belle when she had pups. Maybe she's not getting enough to drink as so much of the liquid is going to the milk?
We would very much like to see some puppy pics.

you have to put them on something like Photobucket.com. Its free & then you just copy the IMG code & paste it on your reply

She may have some nerve or numbness issues--it is common for humans to have bowel/urine trouble (not going or having it come out unexpectedly) after birth too. I suggest seeing her vet and understanding it was a big change for her body.  Looking forward to pics!

My suggestion would be more water and more exercise outdoors.  Try and get her up and out every two hours during the day and about every four even at night.   CR

I would definitly have a vet check her out...the fact that she is forcing makes me think she may have a bit of an infection. This may cause irritation that would make her go, kind of involuntarily. The exercise after welping is never a bad thing too, helps to get everything back working again.
