Yup. Sounds like my house at the moment! Somebody (ahem, not me) left the puppy gate open when we went out for a couple of hours the other night. We were greeted with two very pleased dogs who'd had their very own 'home alone' party! Holly is still very much in the toilet training process, you can imagine the carnage in the house!

That is so adorable. So far Star has redecorated the tree a couple times. She is just not happy where the garland is on it yet...lol

Mine like to bump the glass ornaments with their noses. It's funny because when they slide off the couch dragging their back legs (anyone else's do this) they get static and when they go to sniff the balls the tinsel comes out and gets them on the nose. LMAO! It's really funny.

My girls are now old enough (2 and 4 years) to not be much interested int he Christmas tree.  Thank goodness.  Now the only worry is when they get to playing around the tree.

My youngest, Halo, does the leg dragging thing off the sofa, the bed, chairs, whatever she is on.  It is amazing that they can stretch those legs out so straight.  My oldest does it once in a while, but not nearly so often.

Everyone have a Merry Christmas.

All of mine do that. It's funny. I wonder if that's a GSP thing too. A couple of mine will also sit right in front of me and sit back on their tail and sit up like a gopher does. Almost look like they are sitting like a person.

Gunner does that sliding thing to, we call him a Slinky because he reminds us of one when he stretched out. here is a pic of him stretched out on the chair!

We bought our kids a goose down comforter for Christmas since the have an old two story house in Washington. Molly can actually smell the down and we have to make sure that she is gated away from it if we go out. BIRD DOGS!!!!!

Oh-Yes cause she will shred it! It's AMAZING how good they can smell. Mocha will go on point sometimes she'll even point where a grouse had roosted and there are a couple belly feathers on the ground! WOW is all I can say!

AAAAH the bear toenails, funny how I didn't tell him right away because I thought he would be mad at me for not watching him better & I was the one who wanted a puppy. BUT GUESS WHAT???? the guys had my truck at hunting camp & his friend backed into a tree, totally destroyed the tailgate, tehe,  & he didn't tell me, my son did, { he thought I knew ] , so we are even!! 1 for him, 1 for me. Our sons wedding is finally over so I have more time now. Hubby is ice fishing already, but I don't go until the ice is REALLY THICK, must be the California girl in me LOL

What a change from California to northern Minnesota. Nothing better than Walleye caught in cold winter water. Do you use an ice house or are you one of those crazy people sitting on a cooler in the cold and wind. I know what you mean about really thick. My dad put the front end of a truck through the ice in a DEEP lake whiling hauling his ice house off the lake many years ago.

I have had my snowmobile break through before. A few times. Scared the crap out of me! I used to ice fish but really don't have the time lately. Walleye is the best. Next to a frsh spring brook trout anyways.
