I am looking for a GSP or DK pup around 8-10 weeks old, Female preffered with lots of patching and ticking with a heavy liver coloring prefered, or solid liver. The pup will be a hunting companion and family companion. I plan to test the pup as well. Thanks for any help and please let me know if you have any litters with available pups. I am located in Vancouver BC but am willing to travel or have pup shipped.

WOW no body has any leads of GSP and/or DK litters???? I sure would love to find a pup for this Late Spring or Early Summer... Thanks

For DKs check out: http://www.nadkc.org/deutsch_kurzhaar_breedings.htm If you need suggestions of which kennels would best suit your needs e-mail me,whether DK or GSP There are breeders listed on this site and other sites and a google will bring up plenty more. Knowing what you want in a dog,your time restraints and training experience and what you are willing to put out training wise will help you decide $$$ and breeding. I almost forget to mention your color preferences. To many breeders this is well,silly.Only people I can think of that care about color and patterns would be show people b/c placement can make a doglook different conformationally then it really is,both for the better and the worse. A buyer becomes limited when such prefereneces are wanted and it puts breeders in not so comfprtable place - the value of a dog is not in a color pattern and breeders do not breed for color patterns.Well, some do and those are the ones I would suggest to stay away from. Hope that last part made sense. Francine

I am planning on breeding my girl Halo in the Fall, but didn't respond since you said early spring or summer. If you are interested you can go to my website. I have all her health clearances there and am working with the owner of the stud. I have one of the stud dogs pictures up that we were leaning towards, but since then we have been talking about another male she has as well. I can fill you in on more of the details if you are really interested and point you to both of the stud dogs I am considering at their owners website. I am doing this breeding primarily focused on performance, but the pup I keep will also be shown in the conformation ring. The lines are strong in conformation, hunting (many DCs in the pedigree on both sides), and obedience. Several Hall of Fame dogs are also in the pedigree. Just PM me if interested. I am in Austin, TX.

There are quite a few breeders in Western Canada. Check the GSP Club of Canada for member breeders, http://www.gspcanada.com/breedinfo.htm

Canuck, my girl is due in any day now, I am in PA. She is a CH, SH, field trial pointed and has her RD. All owner handled/trained. She is being bred to a CH, MH, NRD, NAVHDA UT 1 dog. My female is Rugerheim breeding, line bred on her sires side (who is a CH MH), the male I am breeding to is line-bred Hillhavens Hustler, so the litter will be bred on the 2 top producing duals in GSP history. Her first litter is doing well in shows, the male I kept was major pointed at 7 mnths. All were going to water at 8 weeks & retrieving ducks from it at 3 mnths. I've got 2 Solid Female GSP pups available right now. They are 6 weeks old on 4/2 and have excellent pedigrees and potential. I've vet cleared them to go to their new homes. They have had dewclaws, tails, and first shots. I am located in Utah, and will not ship a pup until they are at least 8 weeks. kandcmair, i did not see any hip or health clearences on the pedigree or did i miss them please post them to advertise on shorthair.net thanks( been far east )P.S. DO YOU HAVE THEM ON A WEB SITE?

Hi, Don't know if you're still looking but I am picking my 8 week old pup up this Saturday. I believe the breeder still has one male and one female available.
