| Very nice! She is a gorgeous girl. I am sort of partial to the ticking and coloring though as she looks an awful lot like my girl, Halo. |

| She is also gorgeous and also has a similar ticking pattern to my girl. Both are beautiful shorthairs and your reserve queen I think will be just queen before long. When you get a chance post the picture you took of your male. Your pictures are better than the show picture. |

Thanks Bev, she's a pretty girl for sure, I much prefer Jesse though, Jet is finishable & I like her, but he has a better front than her & better movement. Hard to tell from the pics, but I'd like to see more bone on her, pic is deceiving on her bone.
The pics I posted were from today, the show pic was taken 5 weeks ago, Jess has put on muscle due to being run in all this snow off a Rhino (has tracks & blows through snow). I think you can see more muscling, I should have collared him to show his neck better in my pics, he has a pretty elegant neck which doesn't show as well here as in the show pic, he is "turtling" a bit.

| Your hunting/training pictuures make him look like a fully matured male. The show picture is nice, but I agree with bev your own photos give a better representation of him and her. I bet Jet is built like Trego. You should see her now with the pups still nursing some, she has gotten thinner than she has ever before. I feel bad, I think I cut her food back a little too soon and she is showing almost all her ribs. On the plus side she has been running a fair bit and is liking her light weight to run harder trying to keep up with Stella. She has no chance to keep up with Stella though, she just runs harder as she doesn not want to get beat by mom!!!! |

Thanks Matt. Jesse has put on close to 10 lbs between the show pic & my pic, all muscle, I think that made a difference.
Jet is smaller than Trego, she is very thin, almost to thin even for me & eats like a horse, only about 37 lbs(I wont show her right now). I ran her off the Rhino today for the first time, the girl can SMOKE!!!! No way to keep up with her, she was around 50 acre fields when we were 1/4 way through. I thought Jesse could run, but he couldnt keep up with her.
Still over 3ft of snow here, so tough going yet, hopefully it will melt down some soon & I can get some bird work in. |

At 37 lbs and drive iIbet you are right and she flies around out there. I have given up running them in this deep stuff,Trego hates falling through the crust and Stella doesn't act like she knows any better until we get home and the insides of her legs are bleeding from the ice chewing them up. Don't give up on Jet yet, she may fill out plenty more and be big enough for the ring and I think a lot of show dogs are too big anyway. A 40-45 pound female that hunts good with correct conformation may just be what we need versus the 60 lbs females. I know you will do whatever is best. I would love to run Stella with Jet, she needs to know she is not the fastest dog in the world and after running with some of those smaller brits she anD I learned what big running dogs look like. Jet is big enough, just to thin right now. Long story, but I had sold her 6 weeks ago, bad situation, she got tore up by the buyers 2 bitches, got her back 3 days ago, wayyy to thin.
The crust can get my guys feet bleeding also some, not bad though. Jesses man parts are worse than his feet poor guy, LOL!!! (break through to belly, his little guys are dragging on it....) Doesn't slow them down a bit though, we run them off snowmobiles or the Rhino with the tracks on it.
Stella looks nice, how old now??? You going to try showing her? |

| Thank you. Jesse was 8 mnths in the pic, he's been doing well so far, 3 shows & got points at every one so far. The female, Jet is his litter sister, Jet & Jess are 9 mnths in the pics I took, took me 5 weeks to get the show pic of Jesse, so the pics are 5 weeks apart. |
