I have a 5 year old GSP who has had 2 litters. She had some difficulty giving birth with the last litter and I don't want to put her through that again.  Is 5 years old too old?

5 years old is not old to have a litter.
If you are concerned for her health and the puppies tho, maybe she should not be put thru the ordeal again.
