I ran Dexter in 2 more legs over the weekend and qualified both days. There were a lot of nice people and dogs this weekend. The weather was a bit warm but manageable. I believe Dexter averaged a 9.5 on Saturday and a 9.25 on Sunday. We almost missed out Sunday after arriving a little late. I even got to see Tessa get her first two qualifying scores. She's such a sweetheart! I was a little disapointed this club didn't hand out special ribbons for completing the JH title. Next up, Senior (scary)

I was disappointed too at not seeing the JH title ribbon ... the Vizsla folks had such nice ones in Gordon. Just make sure you get the last SH leg at an event with ribbons :)

If you don't mind, Chris, I will post a couple of photos of you and Dexter later tonight.

Congrats!! Nice scores too. Glad you guys had a great weekend.  Right now I am thinking about going straight from JH to MH and skipping SH.  I have the trainer I work with evaluating Ringo right now and we will make a decision in a few weeks.  My trainer thinks we can have him ready for MH by maybe this Spring, but more likely next Fall.  For me, finding a trainer I can send Ringo off to and then go up and work with has really helped because my trainer is training me as much as he is training Ringo.  He is also wonderfully patient and has we have similar dog training philosophies. We have actually become friends too.

Congratulations.
