Looking for a GSP dog that may be started already. Does
anyone have a dog that may be available to meet that? Preferably started on
birds and gun fire, but doesn’t have to be a pup. A member of our club is
looking and just had to put his old dog down this past week.

Terry is on my list
to contact but thought I would put out some feelers. I will touch base with
some of the Arizona GSP folks tomorrow at Sonoita trial.

Hi Dave - I have a 6 month old male GSP from my NAFC/FC/AFC Reo Pawnee and FC/AFC Holzer's Desert Willow MH litter. Very, very sweet pup - housebroken, surprisingly mellow in the house for a young GSP and just barely started on birds. (My plan is to keep him until I feel he is truly started, but if the right situation presents itself, I may place him earlier than that) I took him back because the buyer's little boy was having serious medical issues and they had no time for field training. Feel free to call my or share my cell phone with the interested party.

I have a five month old "Stan" that I am seriously
considering selling. He is [currently] the stronger of the two pups that I
have but, to date, neither testicle has dropped? If I keep him then I'll
give him a year because some dogs are late in developing but I am betting he'll
have to be neutered?
To date he has been trained to:
Whoa
Retrieve
Kennel
Currently being worked on:
"Bird-in-Flight" means
"Whoa"
Introduction to Gunfire
Hunt Dead/Find IT
In addition four training sessions will go with
this pup.

Dave,
Todd Yamamoto has several yr old males that are
well started. Breeding goes back to Victor Funk's lines. Nice Bird Dogs. By the
way, the 5month old female out of SPRING'S June 3rd litter that I kept is a
complete bird dog. Have run her on wild quail extensively. She is staunch on
point with a high tail, retrieves naturally, and handle like a dream. Call name
is SUMMER and she beats SPRING to the birds, What a joy to own. Best
regards,
Don Gyde HC 6 Box 1307 Payson, AZ 85541-9770 (928) 468-6180
