I found out a couple of weeks ago that there's a very good core group of dedicated GSP owners in OK that are serious about starting up a GSP club.

The focus of the club is field trials and hunt tests, and there's at least a dozen people experienced with both involved.

It's been many years since the GSPCA had a presence in OK and for anyone interested, this is a real opportunity.

The club also has the help and support of both the Sunflower GSP club and help coming from members of the Lone Star and Gulf Coast clubs.

We had our first real meeting last weekend, and toured the grounds where walking trials, horseback trails (No All Age) and hunt tests can be held where the landowner has built a nice barn/club house and is managing the grounds with the emphasis on catering to trials and hunt tests.
