Hi All, Thanks to all who responded to my inquiry regarding the Monks of Skete. I have a puppy buyer who was going to use the system, we shall see... Anyway, I was asked yesterday if I knew what could be done for a female gsp who has recurring bladder infection and whether she could be given cranberry to help it. I have never come across that problem and wondered if anyone out there had any suggestions or remedies. Thanks. Anne Dell Deals: Treat yourself to a sweet deal on popular laptops!

It also contains a chemical which sooths the irritated bladder. My Sister’s Vet suggested her to put a little Baking Soda in their drinking water. It also helps with the spots in the grass .

Cranberry works as you said by changing the PH of the urine making it more acidic...the little microscopic crystals than form in a alkaline urine are what starts the UTI..if you see them under the microscope they look like shards of glass..imagine them coming down your urethra...ouch..they wont form in a acidic ph urine...so use it, but get a PH paper from the pharm and check to make sure its working.
