Well i got together with Luci`s brother an owner Joe today for training, (dogs are 14 weeks old.) We planted sum peigons 4 apeice in CRP feilds both dogs pointed well an then we helped them hold point while the other guy flushed the bird an shot a starter pistol. Then we moved to the water, Luci`s been going in up to her neck but wont go in for the swim yet an her brother up to his knees an vary timid. So we add a live bird pulled sum feathers an just like that Luci says game on. It was like a light bulb went off an said this is what i was born to do, she started reteiving birds out to 20 yards like shes been doing it her hole life dead live didn`t matter. Are live bird we used as bait to get them in the water swam across the beaver pond an went  an hid in bush Luci swam the whole pond went in bush grabbed the bird an swam back! Her brother was going in up to his neck by the end of the day with intent an this was only his 2nd time around water, next time i bet hes in for the plung. It was a good in my book. Just thought i would share, this is all new to me an i already have more than i exspected.. Thanks
