Baby teeth ? Do they have baby teeth ? Had a tooth come out playing fetch. Found it on the floor. Little blood. The dog never slowed down. frank

Actually after further looking he broke off his main canine. He is 5 mths old. Wonder if its baby or if it will just grow in more ?

yes they have baby teeth my boy is gunna be 1 year this month and he still has one baby tooth still to come out may just be stuck so waiting game for that to fall out are his teets still gappy and square looking or do they look like adult teeth

They have baby teeth and the usually come out between 4 and 6 months. It is probably a puppy tooth he broke. It can still abscess though and get very painful and infected. I would take him to the vet and get it checked. If it is an adult tooth you want to make sure he doesn't loose it. Either way I would go to the vet.

What a cool photo, mase!!! Jaws Frank, yes they do have baby teeth that fall out, that is, the top part falls out and the roots remain and are reabsorbed. If you are unsure, have your vet take a quick look. This is what Tessa's looked like:

Actually , I think baby teeth is right. He was chewing like crazy last night and another one fell out. Looks like the one in the picture. Guess I need to leave 2 treats in the kennel. thanks everyone !
