As a life long admirer of the gsp breed and the owner of a weim, I have always been interested in watching the sporting group, agility, dock diving and other events which these two breeds excel. I have noticed that in the showring inparticular there seem to be primarily heavily ticked gsps. I was wondering if that is the preference by judges or if it just happens to be the shows I watch. I have a new "clean" liver and white boy and while I am interested in showing one day, I was just wondering about this. I understand the black and white gsp debate is very similar to our "blue weim" debate. Just curious about ticking.

Ringo's (my 8 MO pup) dad (Gamble's Odyssey Fritz) is mostly white with brown patches.  Here is a picture of him.  He is a dual champion (CH and Field Champion).
