I am sending this out on behalf of a good friend of mine.  He and his wife are in a position where they can no longer keep their 2 schnauzers.  The dogs are 3 and 8, are healthy and have wonderful personalities, they are great with kids and have a working relationship with the family cat.. The main problem is.. they are WAY too energetic for this older couple, who both work really long hours.  The dogs have turned into regular Houdinis.  (although we strongly suspect it is a very angry neighbor who is actually letting them out of the yard).  The dogs are located in Central Kansas.  They are both between 10 and 15 lbs, and have been fixed. While the smaller of the two is purebred, there are no papers. The bigger has some boxer mixed in.  They LOVE running and would probably do really great with a runner, biker or a scooter if someone wanted to take the time to work with them. 

I will try to get pictures, preferably we would like to rehome them together to someone who has the time to devote to these wonderful dogs, as well as a reliable fence or invisible fence system to keep them safe.  I have met both dogs and they are really sweet, I would hate to see them go to the pound.
