Hi Everyone, I wanted to give everyone a quick update on Hendrix and ask a question. Hendrix is getting more and more "trained" everyday, when we brought him home all he wanted to do was go in his crate and would not mind anything. now i can get him to Sit, Stay, and Come. (it took a lot of work...) I also trust him (or he trusts me...) now to stay by my side when he is off the leash while we are running or biking, in addition to hiking. I am currently trying to get him to play fetch with me, I can get him to chase and retreive a ball for maybe 3 minutes and then he loses interest. I have experimented with duck scent on the ball and given treats when he retreives... any suggestions would be great... here are some pictures my all-terrain dog on our last snowshoeing trip...

Isn't trekking in the deep snow the MOST fun with these guys? I can't believe how happy Bo is when we go snowshoeing through the woods with him. Does Hendrix try to grab the snow you kick up or ride on the back? Every now and again my snowshoes seem heavier than they should

who cares if he plays fetch!! he runs, hikes, bikes, snowshoes. what's next white water rafting??
